I'm Dennis Mitchel — a wedding and portrait photographer based in Redding, California, and the storyteller behind B4M Studio. What I do is more than documenting weddings or capturing portraits. It's about preserving the fleeting beauty of life.

Every image I take is rooted in a deeper truth. I find the real moments — the way your dad looked at you right before the first dance, the quiet breath before you walk down the aisle, the laugh that you didn't even know was happening. These are the things that disappear in seconds and live forever in photographs.
My approach is calm, intentional, and invisible. You won't feel me hovering. You'll feel me present — like a friend with a camera who happens to be exceptionally good at their job.
I've been recognized by Brides Magazine as one of Northern California's top wedding photographers, and named one of Rangefinder's 50 Rising Stars. My work has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, and more — but the recognition that matters most is yours. The text at 11pm when you get your gallery back. The "we cried" messages. Those are the ones I keep.
I'm based in Redding but I'll go wherever your story takes me. I've photographed love from mountaintops to vineyards, backyard ceremonies to destination weddings across California and beyond.
